Origin: Estate grown, Durbanville
Production Method & Ageing:
Handpicked grapes. Grapes were then whole bunched pressed to ensure very little colour extraction. A cool fermentation in concrete tanks over a period of 3 weeks ensured freshness was preserved. After settling and stabilization, wine was bottled in May 2013.
Tasting note/ ageing ability/ recommendations:
A pale red colour will develop into an onion skin hue, the low alcohol medium acidity lends itself to the perfect summer time wine, it will develop elegantly over the following 2 years.
